Short paddles are about placement, not power. You work close in, you can see exactly where it lands, and the heart shape does the rest — the impression it leaves is the whole point of the piece.

Care
Wipe with a barely damp cloth after use and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat.
Condition occasionally with a leather balm to keep the striking face supple.
Keep the hardware dry and away from perfume, lotions and household chemicals.
Store flat or hanging, out of direct sunlight.
Wear and safety
For consenting adults aged 18+ only. Agree a safeword or non-verbal signal before you begin, and check in throughout. Strike only the fleshy areas — buttocks and upper thighs. Avoid the lower back and kidneys, the spine, the tailbone, joints, the neck and the head. Start light and build, and stop immediately if there is broken skin, numbness or any pain that continues after you stop.
